Tap a preset like Passport or Signature, or enter custom width, height, and an optional KB limit.
Download
Hit Resize, then Download. The image comes out at the exact dimensions you set.
Common photo & signature sizes
Different forms ask for different dimensions. These are some of the most commonly requested. Always check the exact requirement on your specific form, since boards and portals vary.
| Use case | Typical dimensions | Typical size limit |
|---|---|---|
| Passport-style photo | 413 × 531 px (3.5 × 4.5 cm) | often under a few hundred KB |
| Smaller form photo | 200 × 230 px | often 20–50 KB |
| Signature | 140 × 60 px | often 10–20 KB |
| Square profile | 600 × 600 px | varies |
How resizing works here
The tool redraws your image onto a canvas at the exact pixel dimensions you choose, using your browser's built-in image engine. If you also set a maximum KB size, it then compresses the resized image — searching for the right quality so the file lands at or just below your limit, never over. With "keep aspect ratio" ticked, it scales proportionally so faces and signatures are not stretched.
All of this runs locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded, so it is instant and private — which matters when the file is an ID photo or a signature.
Tips
- If your form gives both a pixel size and a KB limit, set both fields — the tool handles them together.
- For signatures, sign on white paper in dark ink and crop tight before resizing for the cleanest result.
- Turn off "keep aspect ratio" only when a form demands exact dimensions that don't match your photo's shape.
